Mr Masood recently performed a subtotal hysterectomy, and I am happy to say it has transformed my life & wellbeing. He removed a massive 15cm fibroid and there really was no alternative solution to my condition. I wanted to avoid having a hysterectomy & appreciate that I was not pressured to make a decision without being given other options first e.g I was referred to consultants for uterine artery embolisation but in the end I was given a choice and a hysterectomy was the best outcome. Mr Masood was brilliantly caring and put my mind at rest once I was in theatre and the rest of his team in theatre 13 were fantastic- they were so kind and professional. I was made to feel totally safe in their care, Jane Ding doctor, Ivaylo Abadjiev anaesthetist, and Sharon Munich and Renata Nincsevics the nurses in theatre were brilliant and I thank them so much. I really don't think I would of had any better experience- even if I had gone privately, which had been an initial choice as waiting lists were so long.
I am now in week 6 of my recovery and feel very well. Scar is a neat as could be, under bikini line and slight soreness and numbness in that area but all healing well. Thank you to all that were involved in my care.

I checked out three gynaecologists before I decided upon Mr. Masood.
I was suffering from a prolapse of both the bladder and the bowel; Mr. Masood was the only gynaecologist out of the three whom I felt was highly qualified to do the operation,
Which gave me the confidence to go ahead.
The whole team was wonderful, and nothing was too much trouble, at the Nuffield hospital, Brentwood.
Mr. Masood is a good consultant, and very kind and caring, I thoroughly recommend him.

I was referred to Mr Masood for my gynae issue, appointment was booked for me he assessed the situation and we decided on the next better management compared to what others have said.
I had my OP all went smooth and very great outcome after all.

Mr Mohammad Masood qualified from Nishtar Medical College, Multan and achieved his postgraduate degree {Fellow of College Of Physicians &Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS)} in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Shaikh Zayed Hospital & Federal Postgraduate Medical Institute Lahore Pakistan.
He moved to UK in 1999 and gained extensive experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Passed MRCOG in 2001.
